  • My first was 11 weeks, and he's been sleeping 12+ hours every night since with maybe a couple of exceptions; he's 3 years old now.

My second was 7 weeks, then she started waking up at night again at 6 months when I started leaving her home to go to work full time; it's how she made up for missed feedings during the day, since she wouldn't take a bottle. She's 18 months now, and still wakes up at night.

  • 8 Weeks. I have heard that once a baby is 12 pounds they have the body weight to be able to go 8 hours without eating and this was true with my son. I personally think you should wait until a baby is 3-4 months old before you let them cry it out...little babies cry when they need something.
