Did anyone not change their eating habits during pregnancy?

  • Me. I've always been an "emotional" or "hormonal" eater, so nothing ever really changed when I was pregnant...

  • I'm trying to eat healthy and eat all the calories that I am supposed to but I love sweets and things like that.

  • Absolutely. The things that you eat while you are pregnant is the foundation of their beings. I make sure to eat more organically and I am more careful about making sure things are handled and cooked properly. I eat fairly well already anyways, though, and already have organic standards for myself.

    I wanted to also add that what you eat when you are pregnant really effects how you feel, too.

  • I never change my eating habits while being pregnant. I am going on my 5th pregnancy and have not had any issues yet. I just eat everything in moderation. But I do not cut anything out.

  • I had to change, I didn't eat much before pregnancy so I had to pick it up after I got pregnant to make sure my baby comes out healthy and well fed :)

  • The only thing I changed was only having a cup of coffee once or twice a week and not eating sushi (raw). I did have an aversion to all meat but red meat.

  • I've been pregnant 6 times and I've never changed anything while pregnant.  I have 5 perfectly normal babies (1 miscarriage).

  • I didnt change my eating habits either. If your not a food junkie and can fit your milk, fruits and veggies in, why change them.

  • I didn't change much. At first, I tried to follow every last little do or don't, but finally settled on no raw fish, and heating deli meat. I sure ate a lot more often, though!

  • I love salami, prepared sausages, etc. Aside from cutting out all the prepared meats, I'm eating the same things I did before I was pregnant--just a little less at each sitting and a couple more sittings per day.
