  • I would try to take it day by day and if your 5 1/2 mos maybe your baby will be able to survive outside of your womb although they will keep him in the hospital longer... good luck

  • i Will. My specialist told me that if I make it to 34 weeks then he can go home with me. But the reason why my cervix is the way it is, is bc i had a procedure done last year in december due to an abnormal papmear

  • have you been referred to a specialist? A perinatologist would be able to closely monitor your pregnancy and advise you on how to keep you and the baby safe as long as possible. I've been seeing a peri since 23 weeks and have been prescribed progesterone injections weekly until 36 weeks. This is due to a history of preterm labor. Be proactive!!!!

  • if you're 27 weeks right now, then you're almost 7 months. not 5 1/2.

  • Just keep praying you can hold out for the longest you can. If you make it to 30 weeks ur baby will have a better chance of surviving outside of the womb. good luck
