Do you think that daylight savings time is an outdated practice?

  • I dislike changing the clocks twice a year. While the kids are going to school in the daylight now, they will be coming home in the dark. Last week it was reversed. I say pick a time and stick with it. I don't even care which it is.

  • I think it's absolutely pointless. Time is what it is, it shouldn't be mastered by some idiot in political office.

    Really? I will admit I'm a bit confused. That extra out of daylight in the evening occurs BECAUSE of DST. DST ended today and we are now back to standard time, which means it will be getting dark earlier. Does Great Britain do it differently than the US? Cause if that is true, then we should make DST the Standard time.

  • I think so, I think if the schools or workplaces want to adjust their hours to suit the season it would be better. I don't see the point in switching around time. Like another poster said, time is what it is.
