IF YOU HAVE THE FLU AND YOU BREASTFEED CAN YOUR BABY GET SICK ALSO?AND IF SO HOW DO I KEEP HER FROM GETTING TAINTED MILK?

  • Actually, you are passing immunities to her through your breastmilk. Feeding her is the best thing you can do if someone in the house is sick.

  • That's right, the more you breastfeed, the more antibodies she will get against this illness. When there was a sickness in our house, I would give everyone breast milk to drink, even DH. Breastmilk is liquid gold!!
