  • Both hold music, sometimes have games like solitaire, some can record and store video, etc. I know that my iPod Nano also has things like a pedometer on it. The only big difference is that iPods are a bigger name brand, and typically thought of as "THE" MP3 player. They're a little more expensive than some other brands, but I love mine. I had terrible luck with the other MP3 players I had before it.

  • aren't they both the same thing? Except Ipod is a "brand" of mp3 players.

anyways, I have a sony mp3 player. I like it just fine. holds 7GBs, which is way more songs than I'll ever be able to put on there. Plus it's pink!
