Very delicate question? adult content

My birth father's wife died last week. My birth father adopted all of her children. He did squat for me and my four sisters and my Mom who he left to be with this current mistress. My b/f has a painting done by his Mom, my Grand Mother, who I adored; my b/f is getting rid of stuff from their home. Would it be absolutely tacky to ask for that painting?

  • I don't think so. If your grandmother was a huge part of your life, you have a right to ask.

  • Who cares if it is, in someone's mind, tacky? (it's not to be, btw). The dude has done shit for you, it's the least he can do.
