At what age does a baby get colic?

My boy is 3 weeks old and is very fussy today. My other two boys didn't have it. Maybe its not even colic, he might just be having a bad day today. He doesn't have a fever and he is eating.

  • I thought it was 3 or 4 months. It could be gas pains. Get some gas drops at the store and see if it helps any.

  • Typically, if they're going to have it, it starts by 6 weeks, and is done around 3 months. But if it's a sudden thing - it's probably just a bad day.

  • he could just be overstimulated or gassy, try putting him by himself in a quite place or rubbing his feet in a circular motion going from big toe, to small toe, then down the outside of the foot then up the arch. rubbing the whole foot like this is wonderful for releiving gas pains.
