cheat on Thanksgiving dinners and take credit for it if they like it?

like getting stuff from Boston Market (example) and plopping it on pretty platter and letting everyone think you did it?

  • no..although in my single days when i spent too much time partying, i would attempt it..but the fact that you can 'cheat' on the entire meal if you want through the many restaurants/caterers/bakeries/etc is another thing our family has always been grateful for.
    we usually get the smoked turkeys from a church fundraiser, and the pies come from a catholic school fundraiser..we're not above using all available avenues to get out of making huge messes in the kitchen! LOL!

  • Usually if I didn't make it, I admit to it. Most of my holiday dinners have a few store bought goddies I just didn't have time for.
