  • My family loves my double-decker grill cheese. Make a normal grill cheese (orange cheddar), then add a different cheese (Dubliner, spicy jack, etc.) to the other, add another piece of bread over the bread, and grill. Occassionally, if I'm not in a rush, I'll add grilled onions to the cheese before I grill.

Also try rye bread instead of white or wheat.

  • Use different cheeses, add mustard to the bread, add arugala, add apple slices (good with cheddar).

  • Bacon or ham or turkey. Use different bread, use different cheese. We love ham and swiss, or mozzarella.
