I get headaches a lot. Like, everyday. Some are just annoying and some get real bad. My eyes hurt, my forhead hurts, my neck hurts, the sides of my head hurt( sometimes one sided sometimes both sides).... My doctor won't do anything about it. I had a CAT scan done but it didn't show anything. (I gues that's good.) So what now? I'm so sick and tired of hurting all the time! I looked up headaches on and I can relate to 3 kinds of headaches....Cluster, Migraines, and Tension. I don't know what to do because my doctor don't seem to care or believe me.

Can anybody give me some advice on what to do? Thanks!

  • Your doctor won't even write you a rx for a good headache medicine like Fioricet or something? I'd find a different doctor. If you have had tests and still have pain, the least he can do is help you with pain control. I get all three headaches that you mentioned.

  • if you're still having headaches and your doctor doesn't listen or seem to care i would see about getting another one! or at least another opinion!

  • I would see a chiropractor and/or acupuncturist.

  • A friend of mine recommended an herb called feverfew. They sell it at Walmart, I think. I haven't tried it, maybe it will help you :-)

  • Thank you. I am looking into going to another doctor. I made my current doctor write me a referal to a neurologist. I hope they will do something. I am desperate to stop these headaches! Thank you all!
