How is the job market where you are?

It seems to be so-so here where I live. Kinda funny considering we moved here because the jobs were better. If that were the case, I wouldn't be waiting for the proverbial ax every day that I come in (due to lack of work).

  • I live near St. Louis and it's awesome!! They have so many jobs available right now, that they are actually ranked in the top five cities of the US! People really should consider relocating. You can get jobs in other cities where they are practically begging people to work. In Marion, Illinois right now the Pepsi plant is hiring for drivers and actually giving everyone 100% paid training for their CDL's. How awesome is that?!

  • Hotmama why the need for such a rude ass comment? You did not have to be ALIVE during the Great Depression to STUDY the history on it, and make some comparisons.

All I can say, that as a 56 year old woman, I have NEVER personally seen the economy THIS BAD.
