on average how much you spend on Christmas presents for the kids?

Hi, I have two children, my daughter is 31/2 and my son is 1 1/2 and I was just wondering how much I should be spending on their Christmas presents. Thanks

  • I'm going to try and keep it somewhere in the range of $75 to $100 this year I think.

  • $200 but I suppose this number is going to increase when he starts asking for cell phones and mp3 players..

  • Last year i spent about $100 on each , they were 3& 1, now this year we got custody on my 14yr ld step daughter so im not even sure, i was thinking maybe $100 again on the boys, i have no clue on what to spend on sd, she wants a camera& laptop& many other expensive things.

  • We have 5 kids including our son-in-law. We can easily afford $500.00- $800.00 for each one, but we never spend that much. Everyone can afford a different amount. You just need to go over your budget & set an amount that you can reasonably afford without going into debt or cutting into your living expense money.

  • we have 3 and we try to spend 100 on each but usually spent closer to 150. hard as everything is so expensive

  • we try to keep it SMALL but every year we start shopping in June and by Christmas Eve when we pull everything out to wrap we have NO CLUE where it all came from! LOL!

  • you should spend whatever you are comfortable with. I have one child. She is 3. I will be spending around $500-$600
