My baby is now 1 year old, what changes in her diet now?

Major changes are what now? She's still breastfed no bottles and no cups really

  • I would definitely start at least introducing a cup, either with expressed milk or water. Other than that, mine were pretty much eating what I was eating by a year, had been for a few months.

  • I just continued doing what I was doing before his birthday. I followed his lead. He let me know when he needed more food. He was only eating dinner and snacks until right after his birthday when he started demanding breakfast. It took a while for him to start eating lunch since he napped during that part of the day. Your daughter will let you know what she needs. Oh, I also kept nursing on demand to fill the gaps in nutrition.

  • Since you are still nursing, you really don't need to offer a cup unless she gets dehydrated and water is all that is needed.

  • There is nothing wrong with her not using the sippy as long as she is not dehydrated. Has she tried drinking a bit of water from an open cup? Johnathan has actually been using an open cup very well from early on.
