Can a situation where you lose large amounts of blood cause other problems?

Such as with your liver, kidneys, thyroid, etc?

  • Would need more specifics than that. Potentially, yes.

  • you can go to my other questions to get more info, but the basic is that I had a miscarriage and lots large amounts of blood. I passed out twice, threw up every where while passed out and they performed an emergency D&C. In the last week I have lost 4 pounds, without trying to. I am eating and eating the same as I normally do. I'm kind of worried about my thyroid.
I will ask my dr. again when I see him, but just wanted to see if anyone knew anything. Thanks.
