i am 24 wks pregnant and yesterday i was wondering if my colostrum has began producing yet... so naturally, i squeezed. lol. anywhoo... i noticed only two or three very tiny droplets of clear liquid forming not on the actual nipple but on the areola (colored part) surrounding it. did a test squeeze on the opposite breast and the same thing happened. today i checked again and got the same results. the amt of fluid is so little that it could easily go unnoticed but it certainly is there. asked my fiance for conformation. lol. my question is could this possibly be the beginning stages of forming colostrum, and if so, why is the fluid coming from the areola instead of the actual nipple?
i plan to breast feed and couldnt with my first so i am a lil anxious to know if it could and hopefully will be breastmilk...pls help if u can thanks a milli!
