Do you think exercise and diet are important or is one fine without the other?

I think either are good, but both are best.

  • You need to do both. But I have always heard that it's 80/20....meaning 80% is diet and 20% is exercise.

  • If you're trying to lose weight then Healthy Eating and Excersise are best together. I don't agree with dieting. Changing your eating habits is as simple as it needs to go. Everyone loses weight different and gains it from different foods/etc. Therefore, you need to cater to your body specifically rather then a generic diet. However, with that said that with excersise is important. You need to tone and strengthen your body ontop of losing the weight with cardio. This will help your body ease into a healthier shape and size.

  • I think it depends on what a person's goal is. If they want to ensure they are 100% healthy, to the best of their ability, then both are important.

  • If I had to pick just one, I'd pick exercise.

  • doing one with out the other is fine but you wont be "healthy" without both. exercise isn't just to loose weight it is good for your heart and your mind. Diet is also.
