I am 44 years old. I am 124 ish pounds 5' 5" and feel stressed and not healthy.

What can I do besides taking caltrate for healthy bones and vitamins in feeling better. What is the best exercise?

  • If walking is hard, because sometimes you're just tired, your feet are sore, or with your vein surgery, sometimes your legs just can't handle too much, swimming is wonderful! There are all kinds of aerobic classes at gyms. And if you don't want to join a gym, you can use a local rec center pool, and "walk" laps across the shallow end.

  • well, you're not over weight. That's good (I'm 5'2 & 144 lbs...ugggg!)

    Walking is a GREAT way to keep your body healthy. Definitely take vitamins too & eat lots of veggies!

  • I don't know if you are much into dancing but it is a great workout!! But you are in no way overweight! If you aren't feeling healthy just change up your diet a little, include more fruits and veggies and have a nice brisk walk or some other cardio everyday!!

  • Vinyasa yoga (also known as flow yoga) will do wonders for your entire existence :)

  • What type of yoga? I never tried yoga ever. Veggies sounds good.

  • Honestly, I had vericose vein surgery a year and a half ago and went down to 115. I gained weight and I feel so sleepy. I know 115 sounds skinny but I felt good. I guess yoga and walking and cardio are my best shot and not so much just sitting around just doing laundry and dusting. I have to move.....
