How do I get grease out of my carpet?

  • Try Dawn dish soap... that is a good grease cutter

  • Buy some mineral spirits at a home improvement store like Lowes or Home Depot--it's a solvent so it will help cut through grease without leaving soap in the carpet (like dish soap). Just be careful and use it sparingly so you don't damage the carpet--put the spirits on a towel, don't pour it directly on the grease. Good luck.
