What do you do when you feel so down, you cant see to the positive

I have learned if i can just get outside, the fresh air does me wanders

  • I go for walk around the neighborhood, or a bike ride, get some air and exercise, see the leaves and kids playing, etc. Gives me some perspective. Bottom line is I try to get out of the house, even if its just sitting in the front yard or taking the dog out for a few minutes.

  • First, I try eating brain food (salmon, etc). and getting a good night's sleep. That usually does the trick, or, as you say, just being outside.

  • I am on an antidepressant., Was terribly depressed 5 years ago and had to go to hospital. I needed help. Now, I'm happy. Sure things get to me but they're minor problems and I work them out. I need my meds.

  • Yes a walk in the fresh air always helps me... getting off the internet and turning off my cel phone helps too!

  • I let myself feel it for awhile. Then I remind myself how many great things are in my life, and I don't feel so bad.
