  • Breastfeeding helps your baby/child fulfill their full potential. They will be healthier and smarter than they would be if they are not nursed. Example... I have mild seasonal allergies and asthma. I also had chronic ear infections as a child (due to my mother smoking). I just imagine how much worse I would have been if she hadn't nursed me. My dad's asthma was SO MUCH WORSE than what I have experienced.

  • The biggest benefit is that it is free and the next is that it's natural. No additives, preservatives, or fillers.

  • It's free, easy to make(no mixing), Convenient(no bottles to wash), full of antibodies (so a baby who is sick less), You know exactly what is in it!

Formula is not bad at all but breast feeding does have it's pluses.

  • I was going to say the same thing as Jademom, it's free and you don't have to worry about it being 'recalled' (not knocking formula at all, I'm just a worrier about all baby products and recalls).

  • There aren't any benefits that I "think" about, I "know" what they are. They are facts, studies done all over the world.
