Yes, I have heard of the egg and grapefruit diet. It does work. The reason is that the egg has tremendous amount of protien and when you poach it you are not adding oils that can increase the calories. The grapefruit is a fat burning part of the diet. Don't drink grapefruit juice from the carton because it has been paturized and is just sugar. Eat a real grapefruit and don't put sugar on it. And do not put butter on the egg if you want to lose weight. It is amazing how full you feel after eating the eggs and then eat the grapefruit. It is a good start to weight loss. Exercise and drink 8-10 glasses of water a day. You are usually dehydrated.
