  • Read to him and also you can label stuff in your house to help him read like the appliances, what drawers are for what such as shirts, pants, underwear and every time you get ds's clothes point to it as you read it.

  • Reading to him? Absolutely!! Teaching him to read? I think the place to start would be teaching him his letters (upper and lowercase) and what sounds they make, his shapes, colors, numbers, etc.

  • Lol.. no. All kids start talking in sentences sometimes. It doesn't mean they can read.

  • No matter the age, it's always a good thing to start reading to them. Congrats on your little genius!

  • i'm not sure what u r asking but reading to him from birth is ideal..teaching him to read? absolutely an educator children can not read at this age regardless of the programs (ie your baby can read etc)...just keep reading to him and talk and discuss DS was the same way..he will be 3 in jan and can read some stories by himself and i have never taught him to read...much of this is memorization at these ages...

  • READ TO HIM. He does not need to start learning how to read on his own right now.
