  • You should use either gloss or semi gloss latex. It will wash easier.

  • only thing with latex is if its around your stove you may not want to use it bc it could wrinkle and start to peel and bubble....go to lowes or home depot or ANYWHERE that sells paint......even if you don't want to ask for help, the paint cans themselves say right on them what they are good used for.

  • I love the eco paint at Home Depot it has NO VOC's (which IS important).

Whatever you do don't buy Bher.

  • I buy satin finish its not too shiny like semi-gloss and it can still be washed

  • excellent for kitchen is semi-gloss (satin is ok for light cleaning, but in the kitchen it can get messy so i would go semi-gloss). i reccommend the olympic 0 voc paint at lowe's. it's odor-free and you don't have to air out the house for days on end. i even let the kids help lol. it costs about $17 a gallon and it's really great quality paint.

  • I like the Kilz semi gloss - steam and water resistant, easy wash
