Does it take after you have your baby for you milk to officially come in?

  • Well, I had my son at 7:01pm and by the next morning at 10:00AM, my milk was in. Although, it can take days or weeks and baby CAN live off colostrum for quite awhile. No need to really worry, just let baby feed all it wants. The more baby feeds, the more milk you will have refilling.

  • It can be anywhere from the next day to 5-7 days. Until then, your colostrum is PLENTY for your baby. Just nurse constantly and your baby will be fine
