  • The last one, yes. He was in Iraq. The OR staff let me try to talk on my cell phone so he could hear him being born.

  • One, he was deployed on a ship at the time. He didn't hold his youngest son until he was 3 months od.

  • with #4 yeah. she came too fast before he could get to the hospital. i had to call him and say "you hear that crying in the background--that's the baby!"

  • Awww so many stories...Im hoping my hubby will not be out of town when i go into labor so he will not miss our first child born.

  • YES he did w/our 1ST, he was a Marine stationed in Ten.n & couldn't get a leave & I was in De. He didn't see our son until he was 6 weeks old, but I sent some naked pictures so he could show all his buddies he had a son. I cried every time I talked to him on the phone I felt so bad for him. He was in the delivery room w/ # 2 & 3 and we both were so happy about that.
