What does your grocery store do for you?

I love shopping at Kroger because they are so wonderful! :)

Things they do for me that keeps me loyal:
-Every $100 I spend = 10 cent off per gallon of gas I buy in one fuel transaction
-When I walk in the door they know my family by name
-Everyone is super friendly
-Free cookies for the kids in the bakery
-Associates are willing to help you find anything you need and walk you up to the product
-They'll help you out to your car
-They've also partnered with Shell to offer gasoline rewards there as well
-They offer online e-coupons for shopping
-They send personalized coupons to their customers in the mail... including free items
-They double smaller coupons amounts
-They have a Trick-Or-Treat function every year
-Their products are always in stock and fresh
-They'll order you anything you ask for

The list goes on and on! :)

  • I love Woodman's. It's in Wisconsin and it's cheaper than the commissary.
    It's open 24 hours
The produce is cheap. $.69 a lb for red delicious apples, Romaine lettuce is .99 a head, not per pound, Per head.
Nutella costs $2.99 and 9 times out of 10 there's a dollar off coupon. That's how cheap things are.
It has a huge variety of natural foods and ethnic foods. I can find spring roll or lumpia wrappers there.

The downside is it only takes cash, checks, or debit cards. Not credit cards. It's just really an amazing store and I seriously can spend all night in there.

  • They call me by name. Plain and simple. That's what counts the most in my book. They know my kids too. It's personal.

  • I love Publix. If you ask an employee, "where would I find..." they stop whatever they are doing, and take you and find the product for you!
