I have lt beige sofas, caramel painted walls, a little darker caramel carpeting. What color drapes would look good?

The sliding glass doors out to the deck are very wide. Right now we have white vertical blinds that are only closed when the sun is making a glare on the tv screen.

  • I will 4th what everyone else is saying. You need a splash of color and red would be great. Baby blue or certain green would also be a nice combonation.

  • I agree, a red or burgandy. Try a green. I'm doing our living room now and am dancing around the brown/ tan/ cream/ green. Very pleased with it, I brought home a couple of throw pillows that brought some deep red into the mix and it looked good.

  • Something in deep red. If the couch has no pattern, you might consider drapes with a pattern, like paisley, which uses a few colors - the dark and light browns with the red and maybe gold. If you go someplace like Ethan Allan, you can get pillows for the couch that match!

  • I agree, burgandy would be gorgeous! Or if you wanted to keep it a similar tone, gold or champagne colored would be pretty.
