  • all I do is brown up my hamburger and some onion then drain off the fat and add in my favorite sauce-let it get warm, add in some cooked rice, blanch your hollowed out peppers to soften them a liitle then stuff your peppers(cut a small piece off the bottom of each pepper to make them level to prevent falling over) and top them with parmesan cheese, bake at 350 for about 40 minutes or until heated through

  • Cook the rice with beef bouillon cubes added to the water to make a broth.
Use a small can of tomato paste instead of canned or chopped tomatoes. It won't be so watery.
I add the green pepper tops chopped up to the rice after it's cooked.
I don't blanch my peppers but would if I was planning on freezing them.
Cook the ground meat (beef, chicken or turkey) with onion and garlic, with olive oil if lean.
Add cheddar cheese to the bottom of the peppers.
Mix meat mixture to rice mixture, add tomato paste to taste.
Season with black pepper, cumin, oregano, garlic powder,
Stuff peppers and top with cheddar cheese.
Add a little water to the bottom of the pan, not much, maybe a 1/4 cup for 4 peppers.
Bake at 350 for 30 to 45 mins.
