Could a student get expelled from college for hitting another student?

  • More than likely not but if they press charges and the person is convicted they can be. It all depends on the school's criminal record policy.

  • Yes and you can be charged with assult. Depends on the school policy though.

  • Yes, if it was reported to the school or caught by a school official. Unlike in grade schools fighting on a college campus often goes unnoticed, because of the vast areas that it can happen. However, if a school official is notified and "charges" are pressed against the attacker, or it is whitnessed by said official, then yes they can be expelled.
