Follow up question to..."What would you make of this comment"?

I've been talking to a guy online and my friend is already friends with him...I said "He's a jokester isn't he?" To which she replied..."Yes he is...He's also a softie and very loyal"

Would you think she's saying that as a...he would make a good boyfriend kind of loyal, or that he is a good friend kind of loyal?

That was the first question. Before she said all of that (that he was a softie and very loyal), she told me his age, what city he was from and that he was single. Does that change what you think she meant by the first statement?

This all started when my 5yo unknowingly friend requested him on Facebook.

  • My 5yo sat down after me when I went into another room. I wasn't finished, so I didn't log off until before I went to bed. The next morning I got onto my FB and it said he had accepted my friend request.

  • I think your friend was just speaking in general. Giving him a polite complement, like, he's a good guy.
