cut of color?

so is it better for your hair to cut it first then color it? you color it first then cut it?

  • i always color then cut. the dye frys the ends pretty bad, so why not cut them off after.

  • Not always, if I have a client who is taking off a lot of hair, I just cut it first. If it's an in an out regular I color then cut. It really depends on the client and their needs. For me anyway :)

  • Usually you apply color to dry hair and cut when it's wet, so it saves the stylist time to do the color first when you walk in with dry hair, then cut it after she has washed the color out.

  • cut first so you don't need to pay of dye that your just going to cut off (expecially if it's a long of hair gettting cut)
