What is your favorite book of all time?

I can't choose just one becuase I'm a total book nerd. So.
Necroscope Series- Brian Lumley
Kushiel Series- Jacqueline Carey
Wayfarer Redemption- Sara Douglass
Valdemar Novels- Mercedes Lackey, particularly Vanyel
Seven Waters Trilogy- Juliet Marillier
Eyes of the Dragon- Steven King
Hythrun Chronicles- Jennifer Fallon
McGregors- Nora Roberts
Annie's Song- Catherine Anderson
And I'm sure I'm leaving out more than a good few that I have just loved but my mind can't think of.

  • I LOVE to read, but I am not really into classics, my favorite, which I read a couple times a year is Harry Potter, I love the books!!

Answer by ILoveCade at 2:52 AM on Nov. 11, 2010

  • LoL. I enjoy the harry potter also. I'm still trying to reconcile that when I came to Utah I was supposed to go back a few months later and get the rest of my stuff. I've lived without it for four and half years and so could probably live without all but a few memory keepsakes and my 5 banana boxes filled with books. I'm still trying to reconcile that some of them are lost to me and repurchasing them gradually as we find them used or for a great price... which is my problem with HP- I already had a set in hard covers.

  • I can narrow it down to three......but the funny thing is all 3 are from a different genre than the books i usually pick up to read....i usually go for james patterson-type books....but these are my fave without a doubt:

Where the red fern Wilson Rawls
dream wheels OR Keeper 'N Me by Richard Wagamese

  • Actually there are seven of them ... Stephen King's Dark Tower Series.

There are others that I can read over and over, like Anne Rice Vampire/Witch stories, but SK's DT series is the BOMB (just like Ben Afleck in Phantoms).
