What's your alternative to Amazon?

Due to the recent news of the latest book they're carrying, are you planning on using a different website to do your shopping [until they take the book down]? If so, which website?

  • I have no plans to boycott them because of that book, but I prefer Barnes & Noble anyway. Barnes & Noble's free shipping is a lot faster than Amazon's.

  • The book is taken down.

But I really don't see what the fuss is about, they have a whole shitload of books that are about different topics but still unsavory or illegal.

  • WTH?? Why would someone even write that book?

Answer by ria7 at 11:20 AM on Nov. 11, 2010

  • I would have boycott as long as the book remained. Now that the book is down, the point is made, so why continue to boycott?

  • The only reason the took it down was because of the bad publicity. Not because of the book itself.
