  • I just make them and they eat them. They love roasted asperagus, baked sweet potatoes, guacamole, blanched broccoli (the trick is to drop it in boiling for only 60 seconds then pull it - sweet and crunchy), pumpkin muffins, eggplant parm, spaghetti sauce with peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc...

  • I put them on their plate and they eat them. I make soups, casseroles, etc. 1 child turns up her nose at brussel sprouts & asparagus, other than that all my kids eat all veggies. And for the record, potatoes are not vegetables, they are starch - same as bread, rice, etc.

  • I cook, they eat. They have always been exposed to a wide variety of foods- I have worked hard at NOT making monsters.
BTW- corn & potatoes are STARCHES not veggies.

  • Honestly, if they're getting enough nutrients from other foods there's no need for them to eat veggies. There are a lot of foods that have the same nutrients as veggitables do, so you can suppliment with those instead.

  • In our family we had the 3 bite rule. They had to take 3 bites of anything new and then decide if they likes it or not.I worked for us.

  • I put out the veggies first while I finish off the rest of dinner. They always seem to be hungry first. Every other day, don't make their favorites, make other vegetables, Don't comment on them not eating, just you and your husband talk to each other and ignore them. It's hard.
