Ouch!! Did anyone have to have a balloon catheter to dilate

It has been a year and I still think about that painful experience. How about you?

  • That practice should be banned, as it has been proven only to harm women and it can cause incompetent cervix in subsequent pregnancies. I am so sorry that this was used on you! If you are still having terrible thoughts about this experience, you might be experiencing PTSD. I had a tramatic moment during my first birth, and it haunted me until I delt with it through education and talking with other women who also had experienced birth trauma. You are not the only one to feel this way.
