  • My sons teeth didn't come in until he was 8 almost 9 months. He's a year and only has 6 teeth. Be happy they say the longer your teeth take to come in they longer they stay in or last.

  • Nothing to be concerned about. My middle DD didn't get her first one until she was 9 months, my other 2 DDs got them at 5 months.

  • My oldest was almost 9 months when she got her first tooth. After that, they all seemed to come at once. I'm sure everything is fine, but if you really feel uneasy about this, I'd ask your pediatrician.

  • Not exactly sure, but not anytime soon. DD and DS both got their first tooth in their 11th month.

  • My daughter didn't get her first tooth until she was 8 months. My babysitter told me her oldest child didn't get her first tooth until she was almost a year.

  • a friend of mine's little ones didn't get their first teeth until 13mos and 15mos-they all came in fast after that. She said she had almost given up hope-haha.

  • I seem to recall reading that babies typically get teeth around 7 months, but it can start anytime between 4 and 12 months, so I don't think it's time to worry. I'm sure those chompers will peek thru in the near future, if not by the 9 month pediatrician visit then I would ask about it just to be reassured all is well.

  • Don't get worried, they WILL come in when they are ready GL =)

  • Are there signs of teething at all? Does your LO drool, bite her hand, make noises of frustration when she does it? It takes a long time of teething (months) before the first little guy pops through! It is normal for it to be this late in the game though I would just run it by your doctor and have her look at her.
