How do I start homeschooling?

I was only homeschooled for the last 3 months of my sophmore year of high school so I dont know how to go about homeschooling a kindergartener.

  • Check out K12 they give you everything down to a computer and printer if you need it... It is pretty cool....

  • Make a schedule and start doing your activities. You can start now. Homeschooling doesn't have to follow the same schedule.

  • You need to find out the laws for your state first. Check out www.HSLDA.org.

  • First, you need to check out your state laws on home educating. Go to www.hslda.org and look up your state. Then, you need to figure out your style and your child's learning style. Here is what I did, I went to library by myself and checked out every book they had on homeschooling and spent the next two weeks reading and observing my kids.
