Do you dogs ever do bad things they never did before?

My two chihuahuas are adult dogs and are house broken but for some strange reason the female has started peeing in our beds. The male has started to hike his leg and pee on furniture or clothes or anything else he can find(they are both fixed). They have never did this before but started doing it alot sense we had to move into a real small house and they can't go outside and run in the big yard we use to have. We had to move here to save money and now they have these bad habits. We do take them outside and walk them and also have a puppy play yard we put them in. Are they mad at us? Does anyone know why dogs do these things or how to stop it?

  • Did the previous owner of the house have dogs? They may be smelling them and marking their territory

  • It could be that they smell pets that used to live there. It could also be stress causing it. They are in a new place, new smells differant routine. I hoenstly would have them checked for a bladder infection just to rule that out. One could have a bladder infection and the other coud be marking because they smell the other dog. Then if that comes back normal you might want to crate them when you can't watch them at least until they get used to everything and can be trusted again.
