I am knitting knee warmers and have a few questions HELP PLEASE

atterns but it wasn't totally written out so...knee warmers: k2-p2 rib for cuff. Then change to k1-p1-rib for knee section. Knee section done on sockinette except for either side of the kneee that has a few rows of 1x1 ribbing for more flexibility. Then return to k1-p1 to finish the cuff. Thats the whole pattern. Question is where do you make the 1x1 ribbing? Thank-you for any help.

  • Personally? I would just make it k2p2 rib for the whole knee warmer. How it's written is that it's 1x1 on the sides of the leg to make it fit better, with stockinette on the front and back.
