  • Varies during the school week depending on what is on sale....bagels, english muffins, toast, cereal, oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, biscuits. On weekends sometimes I cook a full breakfast w/ bacon or sausage, eggs, hashbrowns, toast or biscuits or french toast. On special weekend occassions I'll make donuts.

  • It's been chilly lately so I've been making hot things like oatmeal and pancakes on school days. Otherwise they are happy with cereal or toast with butter & jelly.

  • He has an Ensure because he refuses to eat a meal and I ended up throwing it away everyday

  • Oatmeal, scrambled eggs, yogurt, fruit, bagels, pancakes, waffles, etc. We have all kinds of stuff! If we have a busy early morning we'll do cereal or pb&j's too.

  • On school days my 3 older kids eat at school.  On weekends they have cereal.  They get their own breakfast since they are usually up way before I am.  My 10yo also knows how to make instant oatmeal and toast (neither of which are options right now because we don't have instant oatmeal and no longer have a toaster, lol).

  • I have always been the 'hot meal' proponent in our home :o) The kids get a hot breakfast when they are with me. I am sure that things will change for the good when I go to court Tuesday and that will mean a return to a normal routine after a LONG two years away from it.

Some breakfast favorites at this time of year oatmeal with fruit and a protein such as sausage; Skillet 'scrambles' with potatoes, peppers, onions, bacon/ham, cheese and eggs; or Chiles Rellenos with fried plantains and chorizo on the side.

  • Mostly cereal and juice or some fruit. They really don't like to eat in the mornings but it makes me feel better if they eat just a little.
