Should the sale and consumption of alcohol – the world’s favorite drug – be further restricted, or even banned?

I am not one to drink alot.. I might have a drink when I go out on occasion, but still.. prohibition again.. PULEESE! Give me a break.. If it didn't work the first time, why would they try it again? As long as people are responsible and do not let it interfere with their life, I dont see the problem. What do you think?

  • Prohibition didn't work the first time around & it would be worse if tried again.

  • No, people just need to learn how to drink responsibly.

  • I personally like a drink now and then and think that instead of banning it parents need to take more responsability for their younger ones and as far as college age kids well if they made it into school they are smart enought to know what the word Under Age means or limit themselves if they are over 21.

  • It's just as bad for you as MJ- maybe worse. people do not want MJ legal- for some puritanical reason. If alcohol needs to go, so do the cigs-

  • By MJ do you mean Marijuana? Alcohol is MUCH more harmful than Marijuana, because marijuana is not harmfull at all. Infact it has been proven to help cancer patiens, and glucoma.. and other diseases.

  • well, like you said, prohibition didn't work the first time, lol.

BUT I do think drinking and driving laws need to be enforced A LOT better!!!

I see too many people getting away with a slap on the wrist when they shouldn't be behind the wheel.
