  • baby in slingWell, I usually gave them Tylenol or Motrin for the fever or discomfort, and the meds for the ear infection should take couple days to kick in. Make sure you always give it as directed and for the time the doctor told you. I hope your baby feels better soon.

  • it depends on the meds some of them takes a few days if it is ammoxicilin it should be almost better if not better by t[he time it was finished

  • Motrin works best. It takes at least 24 hours. But its the pressure that hurts them so bad. Elevate the head of their bed or prop them up on pillows when they are sleeping. The flatter they lay the worse the pressure is and the more painful it is for them. When the pressure is relieved, then the pain starts to go away. Now would be a good time to let your little one sleep on your chest when you are sitting in a rocker/ recliner.
