what is the best way to get in the mood to clean the house?

I think as soon as I get one room clean and start on another I go back to that clean room and it's worse than when I left it!!Grrrrr!

  • Put some upbeat music on, turn it up, and rock out while cleaning... works for me :)
    also it helps to make a check list -- this way, you don't forget anything!

  • loud upbeat music. turn the radio on heater down (cause a good cleaning works up a sweat) and get to it!

  • I feel same way sometimes. I turn music on and make kids help if they clean table their think twice about leaving junk on it, or they'll remind other kids put your stuff away I just clean that

  • Put both my kids are down for naps!!!!! Honestly, sometimes i'll take them to the sitter for a couple hours JUST so i can get my house clean and have it stay that way for more than five minutes!

  • put on some high heels. turn on a few good songs send the kids to their room for a movie marathon with snacks and get down to business! or else send the kids to their grandparents for the night,, i also dont allow toys or stuff out of their rooms

  • I hate house cleaning... SO,---I set my timer for 1 hour... Then, I put some rock music on the CD player. I promise myself I only have to clean for that 1 hour. Anything I do will be better than the house was before !!!
