UTI and bladder infections

help! i get them all the time and can usually either deal with the pain or take otc stuff... i cant get to the dr till late next week.. any otc stuff you know of or home remedies that have worked.... its been going on for almost 8 months..... started in late march. 3 rounds of meds from dr couldnt afford the procedure they wanted done.. ive been dealing since may without meds but now its hurting BAD!!!

  • Drink lots & LOTS of cranberry juice ! Something in it helps !!! ( It's an old natural remedy. )

  • lol yeah im doing that, and taking cranberry pills... im hoping when i do go to the dr he overrides me ahving to pay 3k for a CT scan and i can get all this really fixed before i get married in april...

  • cranberry juice and plain yogurt! and tylonel or i think its called urisil, its like asprin for UTI's... but it makes your pee red so dont worry you arent peeing blood if you take it! why wont they see you until a week? ive had 3 kidney infections and i only had the UTI's for less than a week prior to getting them, but i think some people are more prone to them than others

  • AZO for the pain
    Stop drinking soda and anything with caffine
    Don't eat anything with sugar in it
    Take showers vs a bath
    After intercourse get up and use the restroom right away and drink two 8 ounce glasses of water
