Work Thanksgiving Potluck?

most of my co-workers are bringing the main/side dishes and I got stuck with an appetizer...anyone have any good ideas or a recipe you have used that you like?

    Apricot-Ammaretto Delish
    1-10oz. jar apricot preserves (or peach)
    2 Tbsp. Ammaretto (or 1 tsp. almond flavoring)
    1-8oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
    Mix Ammaretto and preserves together. Pour over block of cream cheese on serving plate. Serve with Ritz or other crackers. The combination of sweet and salty flavor is great. Also good with pepper jelly or salsa instead of preserves and Ammaretto..

  • I would bring Meatballs. Everyone loves them.... you can do spicy, BBQ, spicy BBQ, or teriyaki. Make them in a pan then throw them in a crockpot with sauce, keep it on warm/low and then just take the crockpot there.

    You can do pigs in a blanket.... dress it up more and do crescent rolls and the mini-hotdogs....

  • BLT Dip
    1 pound bacon
    1 cup mayonnaise
    1 cup sour cream
    1 tomato - peeled, seeded and diced

    1. Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain on paper towels.
    2. In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise and sour cream. Crumble bacon into the sour cream and mayonnaise mixture. Mix in tomatoes just before serving. Use Roma tomatoes, dice then drain on paper towels in refrigerator for a couple of hours, add at the last minute.

  • Cucumber Roulades
    Makes: 1 doz. or 6 servings, two topped cucumber slices each
    1 seedless cucumber, peeled
    1/4 cup PHILADELPHIA Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread
    1 oz. smoked salmon, thinly sliced, cut into 12 pieces
    12 sprigs fresh dill
    CUT cucumber crosswise into 12 slices. Use a melon baller to scoop out indentation in center of each cucumber round.
    FILL evenly with cream cheese spread. Top with salmon and dill.
    Substitute
    Substitute 12 canned baby shrimp for the salmon.
    Variation
    Omit salmon and dill. Fill cucumber slices with cream cheese spread as directed. Drizzle evenly with 1 Tbsp. KRAFT Roasted Red Pepper Italian with Parmesan Dressing.
    Notes:These are very pretty if you twirl the salmon around in a circle to look like a rose and use parsley for the leaves. Also good to mix fresh dill with plain cream cheese and a bit of seasoning salt. Yum! I served these recently and they were well like, espec

  • “Margarita” Dip
    1 pkg. cream cheese, softened
    ¼ cup frozen limeade concentrate, partially thawed
    2 Tbsp. orange juice
    1 cup thawed Cool Whip
    1-2 drops of green food coloring-optional
    Beat cream cheese, limeade concentrate and orange juice, and food coloring, if using. in medium bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Gently stir in whipped topping, cover.
    Refrigerate at least l hour. Serve with cut up fresh fruit and vanilla wafers.
    Jazz it up by serving in a wide-brimmed margarita glass. Wipe rim with lime and dip rim in sugar before filling with dip!
