  • IF you Google "buy a star"you'll find that you can buy and name a star for $20. Get him a star and a Twinkle Twinkle Little Star book.

  • Oh wow, tough one. If he has literally everything, why get him something at all? Just for the "getting"? Give him something money can't buy. A fabulous day out! Find out what he likes or longs for, make something happen for him, spend time with him (priceless!) Everybody wants something, no matter how much you own. If you are (or were) very close ... make a kind of gift card, with a little letter that says: We've spend way too little time together. blah blah this and that Just you and me." Get the idea? (maybe a camping weekend?)
Does he like art? Take him to the museum? The movies. Theatre. A puppet show (How old is he?) A concert.
Just a few thoughts. I hope this helped.

  • Love and company. Take him ice skating or to a hockey game. Take him on a winter picnic and help him roast marshmellows and hotdogs in the snow. Show him how to make snow angels and a snow fort.

Giving at Christmas doesn't have to be about material things unless you want it to...

  • Hey, I just thought ... Why don't you make a time capsule together and burry it somewhere!? Put all cool stuff in there. A newspaper of that day, a picture of you two, a little note what it is about with your signatures, a tape with music you like and a recording your own voices, ....

  • If material things are no issue find something you can do with him to spend some time. Maybe you could take him to disney on ice or something like that?? Check with your local rec department and see if there is a class that you could take him to??

  • He is small, so won't notice one less gift. I would give the mom money to start a savings acc.

  • Maybe a membership to something. Here we have a place that is full of bounce houses and inflatable slides. You can get a years membership for $50 .

You could buy paper, crayons, finger paints, and coloring books. My son is always runnung out of these. I bought my son some window crayons and markers and he loves to draw on the windows and glass doors. I will give him a spray water bottle and he loves to spray it and wipe it off.
