Can I bring my HUSBAND to my doctor's appointment?

I want him to hear, what I don't,at times I may forget what she's said and it would give me a back up pair of ears. Also I want him to get me off this high blood pressure medicine because it's making me retain water, instead of ridding it.I've had problems talking to my doctor before and having him there will make me feel more confident.

  • I would definitely take your husband with if it helps you feel more comfortable. I'm the same way and I take my husband with to all of mine and our daughter's appointments. Good luck!

  • We both go to my daughter's doctor appointments, too.I'd like my husband to speak his mind to my doctor but he's got such a big mouth when were together, sometimes he shy's up and won't say anything around others. He's good at getting what he wants on the phone but I haven't seen him really in public.I'm worried he will clam up and act like he can't fight for me.I wory he won't be there for me either.

  • So then I will take him into the doctor's appointment for nothing, but he might hear something I don't.Still to me I worry what people think,I don't want to be known that I can't hold my own weight, and I would like a break away from him.
