How much does the average family spend on christmas each year?

  • I have no idea! I'd guess 600 to 700 total. But I really don't have a clue what the statistic on that is.

  • we have a limit on family gifts no more then $20. and on eachother no more the $50 no our daughter is no more the $300 for all her gifts so this yr we will be spending about so this yr we will be spending about $600 for our 35 family. i think thats pretty darn good

  • I'm pretty cheap so we usually only spend about 250 for everyone and that's including our 3 kids.

  • I AM a Christian and I think people should spend as little or as much as they can or like.

    I can celebrate the birth of the Creator of the Universe with as little as 10 dollars if I need to, because he loves me if I can't spend any at all.

  • We spend around $3000 or so. It isn't all gifts for us though! I do a lot of "small" for tots, angel trees, food pantry... My boys really enjoy the giving aspect of Christmas. I am very thankful my family is able to give the way we do.
