What age is appropriate to allow your child to bathe by themselves?

obviously I would not leave my child comepletely unsupervised, but at what age did you let your little ones start taking a bath and washing themselves on their own without help?

  • My kids are 3 & 4, and we leave them in there for a few mins at a time alone, but we would never let them be in there alone for any period of time...

  • between 5-6 but make sure you do the run down Did you wash your face your pits your girl friend? then I grab the wand and rince her for a few before I get her out... I still check her bottom to make sure she did a good job she does well now she is 6 we started this last year and she'd 'forget' a lot now she's go it
